    - 30-60 second commercial or ad read during either the opening session, keynote session, or Best of the Best and Spring Digital awards presentation.
    - One small item to be included in adviser "swag bag".
    - List of all members who attended workshop.

    WORKSHOP INFORMATION
    FPA has announced that the 2021 spring convention will be an all-virtual event held on April 22-23. With a year of virtual conventions under our belt, we are excited for the vastly expanded event, appropriately themed "Outside the Box." The state convention will feature sessions, contests, and many more offerings designed to highlight, support and celebrate how Florida scholastic publications are surviving and thriving this school year.       Welcome from the board, Contests (9 a.m. - midnight), Networking Room (all day),

      Training/FSPA Primer Sessions (morning/midday sessions)


      Friday, April 23 

      Keynote (9 a.m.), Speaker Sessions (10 a.m. - 3 p.m.),

      Best of Best and Spring Digital Awards (7 p.m.)


      Friday, April 30 

      Virtual Banquet (7 p.m.) celebrating OTS winners, SJOY/TOY winners,

      Sunshine Standout publications

      ABOUT FSPA
      Founded in 1946, the Florida Scholastic Press Association is comprised of more than 300 student publications, online media teams and broadcast programs throughout the state. The primary aim of this organization is to educate, train and support scholastic journalists and their advisers. FSPA believes that the responsible exercise of freedom of expression involves adherence to the highest standards of journalism. Students and advisers have an obligation to learn and practice the legal and ethical responsibilities expected of journalists.
