FSPA Yearbook Evaluations — 2025 Application Information

FSPA conducts yearbook evaluations each summer to help programs grow and improve. Please complete your application by June 10, 2025 and ship your book and any supporting documentation to the Miami address provided in your confirmation email.

Important: Do not send your book to Gainesville or Lutz — books must be shipped to the Miami address listed in your confirmation.

Publications will receive detailed feedback in key areas, with rankings of All-Florida, Gold, Silver, or Bronze. Books will also be eligible for Sunshine Standout Awards, announced each April at the state convention.

You are encouraged to include a letter to the judges explaining any special circumstances, highlighting your theme, calling attention to specific spreads, or requesting more detailed feedback on particular areas.

New for 2025: Digital Yearbooks Now Accepted

In an effort to streamline the process and allow for faster feedback, digital yearbook submissions are now being accepted. This means no shipping required, and no need to worry about books being returned to you. While printed books will still be accepted this year, we are moving toward fully digital critiques in the near future — consider this a transition year.

If you need assistance in obtaining a digital version of your yearbook, please reach out directly to your publisher. The link you provide must be open to the public (no passwords or login required) so that our judges can access it easily.

Membership Requirement

To submit your yearbook for evaluation, your program must be a current member of FSPA.

FSPA membership runs from September 1 through August 31. If you have been a member in the past, but have not renewed your membership for this school year, please access your profile here.  If you are new to FSPA, you can join here.

Payment Instructions

Once you complete your registration, an invoice will be generated automatically. Payment should be made online or sent to the Gainesville address listed on the invoice.

REMINDER: Only payment goes to Gainesville — printed books (if submitting physical copies) must be shipped to Miami.

If your book will arrive after June 10 but you still wish to receive an evaluation, please submit your application by the June 10 deadline so we can plan accordingly.

Thank you for participating and for the incredible work you do with your yearbook program!
