2025- 2026 Online Media Evaluation

The Florida Scholastic Press Association (FSPA) is excited to announce our online news evaluations, a unique opportunity to highlight and hone your team's journalistic pursuits, and receive feedback to better your program.

You must register by October 15th, 2025 to have your website evaluated. Once you register, your website will be evaluated three times, randomly through February 2026.

Submission Guidelines:

- Schools must submit the URL link for their online news website with  content crafted this academic year. 

- Accompany your submission with a written statement providing context on special circumstances and pinpointing specific areas you'd like our evaluators to focus on.

-    We emphasize that only content from the current school year is acceptable.

Feedback & Recognition: With each evaluation, programs can expect thorough feedback across a variety of areas, which should be used to better your program throughout the year. Each program may be awarded a rank of All-Florida, Gold, Silver, Bronze.  Once all evaluations have been received, our distinguished panel will identify "Sunshine Standout" winners to be announced at our spring convention, celebrating the best in scholastic journalism.
