FSPA conducts literary magazine evaluations each summer to help programs grow and improve. Please complete your application and digital submission by June 1, 2026.
We have officially moved to a fully digital process to allow for faster judging and to eliminate shipping delays.
No physical hard copies will be accepted. * Do not mail your literary magazine to any FSPA address. Physical copies will not be evaluated.
Digital Access: You must provide a link to a digital version of your magazine. The link must be open to the public (no passwords or login required) so that our judges can access it easily. If you need assistance obtaining a digital version, please contact your publisher or design software provider.
Introduction to the Judges: To help our evaluators understand your vision, you are encouraged to include an introduction highlighting your theme or specific sections. This can be submitted as:
A written letter * OR a video of 1 minute or less.
Deadline: June 1, 2026. Do not wait until the last moment to submit to avoid any technical issues.
Rankings: Publications receive detailed feedback in key areas, with rankings of All-Florida, Gold, Silver, or Bronze.
Awards: All participants are eligible for Sunshine Standout Awards, announced each April at the state convention.
Membership Requirement: To submit for evaluation, your program must be a current member of FSPA (September 1 – August 31).
Payment Instructions: Once you complete registration, an invoice will be generated automatically. Payment should be made online or mailed to the Archer address listed on the invoice.
REMINDER: Only payment gets mailed. This is a 100% digital process—no physical magazines should be shipped.
