District Workshops

District Workshops are one-day events, each hosted in the seven geographic districts. Workshops are usually held at a university from October to November. Each workshop is a little different, but students hear from industry professionals and learn more about the opportunities in journalism and how to help further their media program. State Convention

Annually, FSPA hosts its state convention. The convention is usually in April. This three-day event includes contests, breakout sessions with industry professionals, an awards banquet and announcement of our digital contest and On-The-Spot Convention contest winners. It's a great event to take your media staff to help celebrate a successful year.
