FSPA Literary Magazine Evaluations — 2025 Application Information
FSPA conducts literary magazine evaluations each summer to help programs grow and improve. Please complete your application by June 10, 2025.
NEW FOR 2025:
All submissions must be digital.
We are officially moving to a fully digital process — printed hard copies will not be accepted. This allows for faster judging, eliminates shipping delays, and ensures that your work is easily accessible to our evaluation team.
If you need assistance obtaining a digital version of your literary magazine, please contact your publisher or design software provider. The link you submit must be open to the public (no passwords or login required) so that judges can view your work without access issues.
Publications will receive detailed feedback across key areas, with rankings of All-Florida, Gold, Silver, or Bronze. All participants are also eligible for Sunshine Standout Awards, which are announced each April at the state convention.
You’re encouraged to include a letter to the judges outlining any special circumstances, highlighting your theme, calling attention to specific sections, or requesting detailed feedback in particular areas.
Membership Requirement
To submit your yearbook for evaluation, your program must be a current member of FSPA.
FSPA membership runs from September 1 through August 31. If you have been a member in the past, but have not renewed your membership for this school year, please access your profile here. If you are new to FSPA, you can join here.
Payment Instructions
Once you complete your registration, an invoice will be generated automatically. Payment should be made online or sent to the Gainesville address listed on the invoice.
REMINDER: This is a 100% digital process — no physical magazines should be shipped.
